The ideal candidate is an individual who has strong accounting skills and is driven to grow and challenge themselves above and beyond a basic AR role. They would have great attention to detail and desire to improve current processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile account aging for assigned portfolio
  • Prompt resolution on payment discrepancies using customers’ proprietary online portals
  • Research and resolve account variances with focus on trend recognition
  • Escalate account issues as needed for timely resolution
  • Assist in collection of past due invoices
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships through effective communication with customers, branches, and support teams
  • Prepare and process various journal entries in accordance with company policy and procedure
  • Identify opportunities to streamline AR functions
  • Provide “World Class Customer Service” to customers, branches and other internal departments

Essential Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable and general accounting principles
  • 2 or more years of Accounts Receivable experience preferred
  • Detail orientated with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Able to work independently and part of a team
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Effective organizational skills • Self-motivated, Self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong in Excel- able to use features to aid in data analysis (pivot tables, vlookup, etc)
  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Previous AS400 and Agility experience a plus
