Job Description

The Fleet & Facility Services Department is seeking a National Fleet Specialist to work with 800+ locations on Fleet compliance and management. Under the direction of the Fleet & Facility Services Manager, this Specialist will assist with field support needs and coordination with National vendors and dedicated reps. In addition, work on fleet management to ensure proper maintenance is being performed.

Specific duties may include:

  • Lead fleet initiatives to improve operational safety and productivity

  • Improve process aspects to operation of equipment

  • Field equipment support needs

  • Final disposal process, disposal analysis, and vendor alignment

  • Oversees guidelines and policy relating to repair, maintenance, inspections, and equipment use

  • Determine and detail any proposed revisions for operations review

  • Assist in creating and detailing education materials-related

  • Provide field support of maintenance and repair

  • Warranty repair procedures and assistance

  • Repair analysis support to Regional Fleet Specialists

  • Manage key vendor relationships

  • Providing administrative support, guidance, and training to fellow associates and field

  • Reviewing, identifying, tracking, and reporting on specific inspection submitted by field

  • Assisting with the development updated reporting process

  • Attending required meetings that may require the preparation and dissemination of both public and confidential informational reports and presentations

  • Answering phone calls and assisting with problem resolution on facility issues

  • Researching local, state, and federal regulations if needed

  • Facility vendor management

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the position are: 

  • Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet,

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with time management and organizational skills

  • Able to prioritize, yet respond to shifting demands, and timelines
