ABC Supply Co., Inc. is currently hiring a Mail Clerk to join our team at our National Support Center (NSC) in Beloit, WI!  We are looking for an individual who is committed to world-class customer service while working with our NSC associates on our Beloit Campus along with our ABC branches located nationwide. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, collect, sort, log, and deliver incoming and outgoing FedEx, UPS, and US Postal Service mail & packages
  • Field and assist with internal customer service shipping or department project requests
  • Maintain mailroom supply inventories and organize and maintain the mailroom
  • Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, mail-sorting machines, scanners, mail sealers, envelope openers, fold-and-insert machines, and labeling machines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mail equipment
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls through the company switchboard
  • Assist in responding to and/or directing overnight voicemail messages
  • Coordinate meeting arrangements, and set up food and beverage requests for conference room meetings throughout the week
  • Stock all food, beverage, water, and coffee supplies along with miscellaneous supplies for building conference rooms
  • Maintain catering supply inventory
  • Restock & clean coffee stations throughout the building
  • Setup and tear down the seasonal ice cream machine
  • Miscellaneous clerical support and administrative mailroom duties including printing and distributing ABC’s monthly phone list and helping with mailroom projects
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50-70 lbs. when needed
  • Experience in a professional office setting working with a diverse workforce  
  • Able to work independently once direction on a task is provided
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, fast-paced, and enjoy working with others
  • Strong customer service and phone skills
  • Possess solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Word, Excel, and Outlook software experience
