ABC Supply is currently looking for a candidate to fill a position in our Trade Payables Department in Beloit, WI.  The Trade Payables team is responsible for the proper statement of inventory and the timely and accurate payment of invoices related to resale inventory. 

Job description:

  • Process vendor invoices with accuracy.
  • Verify vendor invoices to purchase orders to obtain appropriate payment approval.
  • Identify and reconcile any variances between the purchase order and vendor invoice.
  • Collaborate with vendors and branch associates to correct invoicing and receiving errors.
  • Investigating discrepancies to determine root cause and implementing processes to prevent reoccurring issues
  • Ensure proper communication of outstanding AP items are communicated and elevated as needed.
  • Developing and maintaining vendor relationships. Monitor vendor statements and respond to vendor inquires, as needed.
  • Monitor accounts payable work queues to ensure that all invoices have been addressed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Able to work in a high volume and fast paced environment
  • Preferred 2 years experience in reconciling inventory payables
  • Previous experience with reconciliation vendor statements
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Able to work well independently as well as with a team
  • Proficient in Excel
